Ryan Winkleman Ryan Winkleman graduated with a B.S. in June 2007 and started work for a local environmental consulting firm.
Kim Komatsu Kim Komatsu graduated with a B.S. in June 2007 and moved across the country to pursue a pHd at Yale in the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
Katia Bilotkach Kateryna Bilotkach finished her part of the NROC Artichoke Thistle project and is in a biomedical enginering lab at UCI.
Diana Hsueh Diana Hsueh will be pursuing a M.A. in Conservation Biology at Columbia University beginning fall 2007.
Eva Hernandez Eva Hernandez returned to Madrid, Spain in July 2007 to continue her graduate work.
Dan Potts Dan Potts accepted a position as an Assistant Professor of Biology at Buffalo State College in New York to begin in fall 2007.
Dan Potts Elsa Cleland accepted a postdoc postion at the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis and continues to collaborate with Katie on various projects.
Carrie Lessin Carrie Lessin helped Sarah Kimball, a graduate student at UCI, with her research in the Sierra Nevadas looking at the hybridization of three species of penstemon; she started graduate school at Cal State Sacramento in the Kneitel Lab shortly thereafter.
Matt Talluto Matt Talluto graduated with a M.S. in 2005 and is now working as a field ecologist with the Irvine Ranch Land Reserve. His masters project focused on changes in coastal sage communities and grassland conversion over the las 70 years using VTM plots. He continues to be associated with our lab with restoration projects.
Erin Hayes Erin Hayes is now working as an environmental consultant in San Juan Capistrano, CA
Emily Gorman Emily Gorman is now a PhD student at Michigan State University. Emily comes back most field seasons to conduct research with us, examining microbial feedbacks due to invasion and nutrient enhancement.
Heather Bechtold Heather Bechtold is now a PhD student at Idaho State University in the Inouye Lab.

Mariah Carbone is now a PhD student in Earth System Sciences at UCI.

Kurt Hartman (who helped in Katie's dissertation work) recently received his PhD in Ecology at Ohio University.

Julia Larson graduated with a Masters from CU Boulder in Spring 2003 and is now teaching High School Science.

Kate LeJeune defended her PhD Fall 2002 and is now back working at Status Consultants Inc., an environmental consulting firm in Boulder.

Kristi Sherfinski is an environmental consultant in Michigan.

Dana Witwicki is now a PhD student at Oregon State University.
