B.A. in Biology emphasizing Botany 2001 University of Montana.

Botanical/Horticultural/Research Interests:

I am interested in propagating native plants especially those for which it is difficult to do so. Growing native plants. Breeding plants such as: native range grasses and forbs, alpine pine trees, and apples. Understanding biological invasions and of course identifying everything that is green to species- for the purpose of later growing it.

Specialties:

Seed collection, propagation, planting, seed cleaning, digging holes, nursery work, identifying plants to species, weeding, watering, spraying herbicide, High quality species rich bunchgrass prairie restoration on a small scale. Native plant gardening.

Favorite Plant:

Pseudoroegnaria spicata, Malus sieversii, Pinus albicaulis, Anything Stipa, Triticum aestivum, and Quercus macrocarpa

Least Favorite Plant:

Convolvulus arvensis – Destroyed one of my gardens!
